Manuel Acevedo
I've been playing guitar for more than 25 years, and teaching for over 15 years, focusing on rock and metal styles. I have a degree in guitar and music education from the Adolfo Abalos Institute of Music, specializing in folklore and latin-american music.
I've also studied classical guitar in Luis Gianneo Conservatory of Music.I've been teaching and gigging for the past decade and a half, covering a wide variety of styles: from tango to power metal and anything in between including musical theatre, blues, pop and more.I'm currently working full-time as a remote music teacher.
I'm also teaching at the Mar del Plata Day School elementary school since 2012, where I try to connect my two passions: music and technology. I help students to create and compose their own music using online tools and virtual instruments. I'm also the lead guitar player for SAUDA, an Argentinian vocal quartet.
